Can ERP Selection be reduced to a simple Match-The-Column kind of an exercise ?

Since ERP Selection Assignments essentially mean matching ERP-Product-Features with ERP-Customer-Requirements, the efforts required both for ERP-Software-Feature-discovery and Customer-ERP-Requirement-Discovery would be minimised.

Can ERP-Selection be made as simple as a Match-The-Column Assignment ?
